Private Lessons
The Music Academy @ First offers free private lessons with qualified music instructors to students whose families could not otherwise afford them. We provide music that is appropriate for their level and, when available, we provide students with an instrument if they need one.
Lessons are 30 minutes weekly throughout the school year.
Application can be made anytime throughout the year
Acceptance is based on the student’s family meeting the requirements for the Free/Reduced Meal Program as set by USDA standards and availability of a music teacher.
Lessons we offer:
Piano, Woodwinds, Brass, Percussion
Strings: Violin, Viola, Cello, String Bass
